Nichola Cole, 21, and Davinna Brown, 29, both of London Road, Ipswich, are to be assessed for their suitability for a drug treatment and testing order before the court passes sentence.

Cole, who has previous convictions for theft, pleaded guilty to the burglary of a house in Whitland Road, where a hi-fi and a bottle of champagne were stolen.

Brown, who has more than 100 previous convictions, namely for shoplifting, admitted three charges of shoplifting and asked for five similar offences to be taken into consideration.

She also admitted handling stolen goods and attempting to burgle and the actual burglary of her father's Bulwer Road home.

The women were released on conditional bail and are due to be sentenced around April 12.
