FIREFIGHTERS tackled burning undergrowth in an Ipswich park in the early hours of today.

FIREFIGHTERS tackled burning undergrowth in an Ipswich park in the early hours of today.

One crew from the town's Princes Street station was called to Gippeswyk Park at around 1.20am.

They used buckets of water to fight the blaze, which was put out at around 1.40am.
