AN area of Ipswich has been left without power for more than 24 hours.
Power was interrupted to 42 customers in the Woodbridge Road and Lacey Street area of town at 11.43am yesterday , due to an underground cable fault.
A spokeswoman for EDF said: “EDF Energy Networks engineers have been working in the area to locate the fault and are currently on site again today to complete a repair so that power can be restored.
“We do appreciate how difficult it is to be without power and would like to apologise to customers for the inconvenience caused.”
