GOODWILL messages have been flowing in from around the world following the tragic death of much-loved Kari Boto in an incident in the sea on Wednesday.
Mrs Boto, 53, a senior director with the BBC World Service based in London, died after swimming in the sea off Felixstowe Ferry on Wednesday.
She was the wife of Ipswich Hospital consultant Dr Tom Boto whose colleagues desperately struggled to save her.
Mrs Boto, who lived at Park Road in Ipswich, would regularly swim at Felixstowe after going to the gym or jogging in the area.
The couple were devoted to improving the lives of those in Africa - Dr Boto is originally from Uganda and fled that country during Idi Amin's notorious rule in the mid-1970s.
They have supported many children directly in that country - sponsoring the education of a class of youngsters.
Today The Evening Star is offering you the chance to pay your respects to Mrs Boto - a woman who inspired all who knew her.
