A POLICE community support officer saved the lives of two men trapped in floodwater in Essex today.

A POLICE community support officer saved the lives of two men trapped in floodwater in Essex today

Andy Hill waded through the water and pulled the two London men, aged 24 and 44, from their Audi, which was stuck in 4ft of water on Wallasea Island near Rochford.

His colleague Faye Mills helped the men get dry after the incident, which happened shortly after 11.30am.

The men were very grateful and returned to London soon after.
