EIGHT peace protestors involved in a demonstration at RAF Mildenhall earlier in the month will appear before magistrates tomorrow to answer aggravated trespass charges.

They were part of a group who cut the perimeter fence before running onto the runway at the American airbase during a protest against a war with Iraq on January 5.

They were charged with aggravated trespass after answering police bail on Sunday , and will appear before magistrates in Bury St Edmunds.

Seven protestors, arrested by Ministry of Defence police during the same incident, failed to answer their bail.

Warrants have been issued for their arrest.
