POLICE and ambulance crews were today called to an accident in Fletcher Road, Ipswich, which involved a car and a pedestrian.
POLICE and ambulance attended the scene of an accident in Fletcher Road, in Ipswich, today involving a car and a pedestrian.
An 82-year-old woman collided with a yellow Ford Puma car on Fletcher Road at about 1.20pm.
The woman, who was on her way to the nearby post office on Reynolds Road, was left lying in the road, bleeding from her leg.
The accident happened at about 1.20pm and the woman, believed to be from Ipswich, was later taken to Ipswich Hospital by ambulance crews.
The driver of the car was believed to be a 43-year-old woman, also from Ipswich.
