A PEDESTRIAN has been seriously injured after a hit and run crash in Hadleigh today.

Emergency services have been at the scene of the accident in Benton Street.
The driver of a black, or dark blue Jaguar collided with an elderly man, before speeding away from the scene towards Holton St Mary.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Trust said the casualty was believed to be a 50-year-old male.
He said: “We are treating it as a serious incident. The man is reported to have serious leg and head injuries.
“We received reports of a male in the road with a bleeding head injury, he was unconscious but breathing.

“Our colleagues in Essex have mobilised their helicopter to the scene to assist.”
Police officers are appealing for witnesses to the incident which happened at about 12.50pm.
A police spokesperson said: “The man has serious injuries and the air ambulance has landed nearby. “Benton Street has been closed off whilst the man is treated for his injuries and an investigation into the collision is carried out.”
It is believed the driver of the Jaguar is a white man in his mid 20s to mid 30s, with dark hair. He was wearing a white shirt.
