Pensioner dies after road smash

A PENSIONER has died after a road traffic collision on the A14 near Bury St Edmunds.Sydney Turner, 88, of Black Thorpe Farm, Rougham, suffered serious injuries after his Ford Fiesta was involved in a two-car smash on Saturday .

A PENSIONER has died after a road traffic collision on the A14 near Bury St Edmunds.

Sydney Turner, 88, of Black Thorpe Farm, Rougham, suffered serious injuries after his Ford Fiesta was involved in a two-car smash on Saturday .

He died yesterday in West Suffolk Hospital.

The male driver of the other car, a Vauxhall Vectra, escaped unharmed from the incident, near the Rougham Farm bridge over the A14 at Rougham.
