A PENSIONER from East Anglia has drowned while swimming at a beach in South Africa.

Peter Copping, 72, from Norwich, was caught in sea currents while swimming off Kariega main beach at Port Alfred with friends and family yesterday.
A 47-year-old woman he was swimming with was rescued, but Mr Copping could not be saved.
