The 2017 Crafted Classique started and finished at the Ipswich Waterfront allowing riders to enjoy a cycle trip up the coast.

There were three routes on offer – a 55km circular journey as far as Wickham Market, a 100km journey that also went to Orford and Snape or a 100-mile trip that also took riders to Aldeburgh, Yoxford, Laxfield and Framlingham.

This was the third Crafted Classique where riders were timed and logged around the course – but it is definitely not seen as a race.

It was the fourth Crafted Classique to be run from the Cult Cafe at the University of Suffolk’s James Hehir building on the Waterfront and was supported by British Cycling, Elmy Cycles and Ipswich Council alongside others including its charity partner St Elizabeth Hospice.
