A PERSON has been taken to hospital this evening with serious injuries after being rescued from a river.
Emergency services were called to Quay Lane in Sudbury at about 7.22pm to reports of a person in the river.
It is believed the person was taken to hospital with serious injuries shortly before 8pm.
