FIREFIGHTERS were called to clear up a petrol spillage on the A14 at Bury St Edmunds this morning.
A BMW had leaked fuel after crashing into a barrier at the junction for Bury east at 2.20am.
Two fire crews from Bury St Edmunds were sent to the scene to make the area safe, with police also in attendance.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said there was some damage to the barrier.
The driver appeared to have escaped uninjured.
