PUBLICTY-seeking Michael Millhouse got more than he bargained for when he made the front page of his local newspaper.
A community-spririted Millhouse, 43, was photographed painting decorative Christmas greetings on shopfront windows.
The picture was one of two published on the front page of the Lewiston Tribune in Washington, USA.
Unfortunately for Millhouse, the other photo was a CCTV image of him slipping a woman's purse into his pocket.
Editors at The Tribune spotted the similarity of the person in the photos and tipped off the police, who promptly arrested Millhouse for theft.
