TWO planes carrying more than 280 passengers collided today while taxiing to an airport runway.
TWO planes carrying more than 280 passengers collided today while taxiing to an airport runway.
The planes, a Futura flight to Tenerife and a Lufthansa flight bound for Frankfurt, touched wings at Manchester Airport at lunchtime today.
The plans were carrying a combined total of 288 passengers. No-one was hurt in the incident and no other planes were delayed.
The collision will now be investigated by the Air Accidents Investigation Branch.
