Planespotters to have appeal heard

PAUL and Lesley Coppin, the Mildenhall planespotters convicted of spying in Greece are due to have their appeals heard in November.

They have been told that an independent panel of judges from the regional capital Nafplion will hear the case.

The Coppin's from Worlington Road, were released on bail, together with ten other Britons and two Dutch aircraft enthusiasts following a trail in April - also held in Kalamata - where Mr Coppin was convicted of espionage and Mrs Coppin of aiding and abetting espionage.
