POLICE appealed for witnesses today after a motorcyclist was killed on the B1150 in Norfolk in the early hours of the morning.

The accident happened at 1.14am at Scottow near the Sloley junction.
A grey Rover 216 was heading towards Scottow, from North Walsham, when it was in a collision with a purple Honda Rebel 125 motorcyle, which had been heading in the opposite direction.
The 24-year-old female rider of the motorbike, who lived locally, suffered fatal injuries and was declared dead at the scene.
The 18-year-old man driving the Rover was taken to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital with minor leg and head injuries.
He was later arrested in connection with the incident and is currently being held at Bethel Street Police Station.

Pc Shaun Turner, from Acle road policing unit, wants to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or who has information about how either vehicle was being driven before the crash.
