Police appeal after boy chased

POLICE are appealing for information after a 12-year-old boy was chased by a man as he walked along an Ipswich street.

The boy was walking along Hawthorn Drive, between the library and Alldays, at about 8.

POLICE are appealing for information after a 12-year-old boy was chased by a man as he walked along an Ipswich street.

The boy was walking along Hawthorn Drive, between the library and Alldays, at about 8.15pm last night when he became aware he was being followed by a man who kept shouting at him.

The boy ran off and the man then started to chase him.

The offender is described as black, aged 35 to 40 and wearing a red T-shirt and a brown coat. He was also carrying a bag.
