Police appeal after man dies in Ipswich

A WITNESS appeal has been issued by police after a man collapsed and died in an Ipswich car park.

A WITNESS appeal has been issued by police after a man collapsed and died in an Ipswich car park.

The 31-year-old man died in the car park above the Blockbusters movie store in Berners Street at around 2pm on Saturday.

The death is not being treated as suspicious and has been referred to the coroner. A post mortem will take place soon.

Detectives are keen to speak to a man, who was wearing a baseball cap and dark clothing, who called an ambulance from a telephone kiosk and met paramedics but left before police arrived.

It is believed he could vital information which could assist with the coroner's investigation.

Police would also like to speak to anyone else who may have information on the death.
