POLICE are appealing for witnesses to an assault in Colchester, which has left a man with serious injuries.In the early hours of today, at about 2am, two men were chased by a group of youths along Goring Road.
POLICE are appealing for witnesses to an assault in Colchester, which has left a man with serious injuries.
In the early hours of today, at about 2am, two men were chased by a group of youths along Goring Road. One of the men, a 20-year-old, was attacked, possibly with a weapon, and suffered serious head injuries.
He was taken to Colchester Hospital but was later transferred to Romford's Queen's Hospital.
