Emergency services were called to a road near the old airfield at Knettishall, at around 2.30pm, where a motorbike had collided with a Renault Laguna.
The motorcyclist, who was pronounced dead at the scene, has been named as Michael Hyde, 53, of Beeston in Norfolk.
Police are appealing for anyone who saw the collision or may have any further information to
contact PC Terry Beddington at the Bury Roads Policing Unit on 01284 774100.
