LOWESTOFT police are growing increasingly concerned for the safety of a 62-year-old woman who went missing from her Kesgrave Drive home on Wednesday.
Audrey Ena Cook left her home between 8.45am and 9.30am, leaving a note saying she was going for a walk, but she has so far failed to return.
Mrs Cook is thought to be depressed, but her disappearance is out of character as she rarely goes out alone.
Police are asking her to get in touch with her family or officers, and are appealing for anyone who may have seen her to get in touch.
Mrs Cook is described as white, 5ft 5ins tall, of fairly large build with short light brown curly hair.
At the time of her disappearance she was wearing dark trouser, black shoes and a grey three-quarter-length coat, with fur trim.
If you have seen her, or know her current whereabouts, please contact Lowestoft Police on 01986 835100.
