POLICE today appealed for witnesses to a fatal road accident in Essex.
A 51-year-old motorcyclist died yesterday following a collision with a 4x4 Mercedes on Saturday, November 3.
The accident happened on Main Road, Boreham, near Chelmsford at about 3.20pm.
The man's blue Honda VFR800 had been heading towards Chelmsford and was in collision with a grey Mercedes 4 x 4 coming in the opposite direction.
The Chelmsford biker suffered serious injuries and was taken to Broomfield Hospital for treatment.
The Mercedes driver, a 70-year-old woman from Woodham Walter, and her male passenger were uninjured.
