POLICE are today appealing for witnesses after a 21-year-old man was killed in a road accident near Eye.

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a 21-year-old man was killed in a road accident in Suffolk.

Robert Harrington, of East Delph, Whittlesea, was a passenger in a red Peugeot 307 which collided with a grey VW Golf at 12.30am on Sunday.

The driver of the Golf, a 37-year-old man from Norfolk, and two women in the Peugeot, both 19-year-olds from March, suffered slight injuries.

The accident happened on the A47, Eye, 40 metres east of the Willow Lane junction.
