Suffolk police were called to reports that part of a Christmas tree was causing an obstruction on the A12 at Copdock this morning.

Police were called at around 10am today, Friday, October 6,to the scene on the southbound carriageway, 500 yards from the Copdock roundabout.

A police spokeswoman said officers had received a report from a member of the public that the tree was obstructing part of the road.

An officer was sent to the scene and the road was clear by 10.30am.
