Police car involved in crash in Ipswich while on emergency call

A police car travelling on an emergency call was involved in a crash today.

The marked police Ford Focus collided with a silver Ford Focus on Bramford Road, between Norwich Road and Yarmouth Road, at 2.50pm.

A male member of the public driving the silver car reported minor injuries as a result of the crash.

The road has been closed for investigation work, but the vehicles will be recovered shortly.

Any witnesses to the crash should call Suffolk police on 101 quoting CAD 227.
