A POLICE car collided with another vehicle in Ipswich town centre today.The accident happened in the north bound carriageway of Civic Drive shortly after 5pm and involved a police patrol car and a Vauxhall Corsa.
A POLICE car collided with another vehicle in Ipswich town centre today.
The accident happened in the north bound carriageway of Civic Drive shortly after 5pm and involved a police patrol car and a Vauxhall Corsa.
The road was sealed off for around half-an-hour while the accident was cleared.
An ambulance was called and treated the female driver of the Corsa for minor injuries before taking her to Ipswich Hospital.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said it did not appear that the police car was on call at the time.
