Detectives carried out checks in the Kelly Road area of Ipswich in the early hours today, a week after a firearm was discharged and items on fire were thrown at a property.
Police arrested two teenage boys from Ipswich – aged 15 and 16 – last week following the incident at around 2am-2.30am on Tuesday, June 20.
The teenagers were arrested on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life and possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence following the incident.
Both have been released under investigation, while further enquiries continue.
As part of the investigation, officers carried out checks between 1am and 3am today to see if there were people travelling through the area who may have been in the vicinity at the same time last week.
Police are continuing to ask anyone with information to come forward.
Any information can be reported to Suffolk Police on 101, quoting CAD 42 of Tuesday, June 20. Alternatively call Crimestoppers, anonymously if required, on 0800 555111.
