POLICE today charged a man with the murder of 20-year-old Suffolk man Bill O'Connor.
Tony Holland, of Broadlands, Desborough, Northamptonshire, was due to appear before Sudbury magistrates this afternoon.
The 22-year-old was arrested in Northamptonshire on Monday and taken to Bury St Edmunds police station for questioning.
He was quizzed throughout this week, before being charged this morning.
Mr O'Connor was stabbed behind a row of shops in Home Farm Lane, Bury St Edmunds, around 12.20pm last Friday.
He later died from his injuries at the town's West Suffolk Hospital.
