Police concerns over missing man

POLICE are today trying to trace a missing Ipswich man who has not been seen by his family since Sunday.Wayne Friend, 22 of no fixed abode appeared very depressed when he visited his family at the weekend and they are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

POLICE are today trying to trace a missing Ipswich man who has not been seen by his family since Sunday.

Wayne Friend, 22 of no fixed abode appeared very depressed when he visited his family at the weekend and they are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

A spokeswoman for Ipswich police said the family consider his behaviour to be out of character.

Mr Friend is white, 6ft tall and has dark brown hair. The last time he was seen he was wearing old trainers, dark coloured jeans and a hooded top, possibly grey.

Police are urging Mr Friend to call and let them know he is safe. Mr Friend, or anyone who knows of his whereabouts should call the duty sergeant at Ipswich Police on 01473 613500.
