POLICE are renewing appeals for information relating to the whereabouts of a 14-year-old boy who has been missing for more than two months.

Carl Day went missing from an address on Norwich Road in Stonham Parva, near Stowmarket, on January 17.

Although officers have been in contact with Carl over the phone and he has been seen on several occasions by members of the public in Clacton, Essex, they are keen for him to attend a police station so they can be satisfied that he is safe and well.

Carl is described as white, 5ft 7 inches tall, of slim build, with short brown hair and has blue eyes.

When he was last seen he was wearing dark navy jogging bottoms, a dark navy hooded top and white trainers.

Inspector Les King from Suffolk Police said: “We are keen to trace Carl to ensure that he is safe and well. Although he is quite 'street wise' he is still young and therefore we consider him to be vulnerable.

“We need him to go to a local police station so that we can be satisfied that all is well.

“If you know him, or believe you know where he is staying, please contact us as a matter of priority.”

Anyone who has any information should contact Suffolk police on 01473 613500.
