SUFFOLK police have dealt with six incidents on the roads this morning as snow continued to cause havoc for drivers.

Just after midnight, a car went into ditch in Station Road, Lakenheath, and at 1.12am a car went into a sign at RAF Lakenheath.

At 6.40am two vehicles were involved in a collision at Thetford Road, Brandon, and there were long tailbacks on the Orwell Bridge after a car spun on the A14 at Wherstead just before 9am.

Police were also called to a two-car crash at 9am at Pinebrook, Ipswich, and to help a driver whose car went into a ditch at 9.27am at High Road, Great Finborough.

No-one was injured in any of the incidents.

Police have dealt with 35 accidents in the west of the county since the snow arrived on Wednesday - most of them due to the severe weather conditions.
