Detectives are appealing for help in tracing a 20-year old woman from Ipswich.

The police helicopter has joined the search for 20-year-old Courtney Bellamy, who was reported missing today.

Although she has gone missing in the past, Suffolk police have said they are concerned for Courtney’s welfare.

She was last seen this morning at 7am on Stoke Bridge in Ipswich – and now police say they are very concerned for her wellbeing.

Officers have made a number of enquiries to try and locate her but are now appealing for any further sightings.

They are urging anyone with information about where she is to come forward.

Courtney is black, 5ft 3in tall, slim and has brown hair which is shaved at the sides.

When she was last seen she was wearing a pink jumper, pink checkered bottoms and pink trainers.

Members of the public are urged not to approach Courtney if they see her.

Instead, they should call police by dialling 999 and quoting the reference number 59 of April 15.
