A MAN is in hospital today after suffering head injuries in an assault in a Suffolk town.
The man was one of two men injured in the attack in High Street, Mildenhall, at 12.15am today.
He is being kept sedated at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge as doctors assess his condition and treat him.
The second man has been discharged from the hospital after being treated for injuries he sustained in the attack.
Police today appealed for witnesses to the assault as they questioned three men who were being held at Bury St Edmunds police station in connection with the attack.
