A GANG of men are being hunted by police after they targeted a female at a bus stop in Ipswich and stole her purse.

A GANG of men are being hunted by police after they targeted a female at a bus stop in Ipswich and stole her purse.

The robbery happened at about 9.25pm on Thursday when a 31-year-old woman was waiting on Bishops Hill.

A group of four men approached her and one of them asked for some loose change and as got her purse out another asked for a cigarette light.

While searching the men snatched her purse and mobile phone and they all ran off.

The gang are described two white and two black males. The white males are described as taller than 5ft5in, of medium build, both wearing dark hooded tops but one also had a dark coloured bomber style jacket on with a red logo on the back.

The other white male had a dark coloured baseball cap on with a flat rather than a curved peak.

One of the black males is described as being 5ft tall, of slim build and wearing dark jeans and a dark hooded top with the hood up.

The last of the men was of medium build and wore a large puffa coat with a blue logo on the back and a dark coloured baseball cap with a flat peak. All the men are thought to be aged between 15 and 18 years old.
