POLICE are hunting armed robbers who raided a Suffolk jewellers leaving a member of staff injured.
POLICE are hunting armed robbers who raided a Suffolk jewellers leaving a member of staff injured.
Three masked men threatened staff with a hammer when they burst into the jewellers at New Market, Beccles, at about 4.30pm before fleeing with a quantity of jewellery.
A 46-year-old female member of staff suffered minor facial injuries which were treated by paramedics.
The men were wearing black clothing including black hooded tops and balaclavas. A silver vehicle was seen leaving the area of the White Horse at speed and headed towards Gillingham.
A vehicle was later found on fire in Church Road, Gillingham, Norfolk, at about 4.45 pm. It is not known whether the vehicle is connected to this incident.
