Police hunt cash-snatch pub thief

POLICE are today hunting a man who carried out a cash-snatch at the Case in Altered pub in Ipswich.CCTV images from the pub in Woodbridge Road have now been released in a bid to catch the thief.

POLICE are today hunting a man who carried out a cash-snatch at the Case in Altered pub in Ipswich.

CCTV images from the pub in Woodbridge Road have now been released in a bid to catch the thief.

The man was disturbed after getting in through the back door. He stole a quantity of money from a small electronic safe before being disturbed by a member of staff and running off.

The offender is described as white, about 5ft 7in tall and was wearing a brown striped jumper and blue jeans and was carrying a Wilkinson's carrier bag.

The burglary occurred around 4.40pm Wednesday, October 31.
