Police hunt for men after girl accosted

POLICE in Ipswich are today appealing for witnesses after three men attempted to entice a girl into their car.

The incident happened in Hawthorn Drive at 8am on Tuesday when the 11-year-old girl was stopped by three men in a black hatchback car.

The incident happened in Hawthorn Drive at 8am on Tuesday when the 11-year-old girl was stopped by three men in a black hatchback car.

One of the three men, who are all described as black with short hair and in their 20s, asked the girl for directions before asking her to get into the car.

The girl refused and the car drove off as her friend arrived.
