FOUR Suffolk teenagers have faced terrifying ordeals after they were followed by men in three separate incidents in the county.

One incident occurred at 4pm yesterday when two young boys, aged around 11, were followed by a man driving a blue Ford Sierra, along Waterford Road, Ipswich.

At one point he got out of the car and followed the startled youngsters, who ran home and raised the alarm.

Slightly earlier yesterday a man approached a 15-year-old girl and asked her to get on his motorbike, in Bredfield Road, Melton.

The man eventually left the scene after an unknown passer-by came and asked if everything was OK.

The biker is described as being white, of slim build, aged 35-40 years old, with tanned skin and short brown spiky hair – possibly greying at the sides.

He was wearing black leather trousers and a tight black lycra long-sleeved top, with white writing on the arms. He had a red and white bandana around his neck, and a black, yellow and red crash helmet.

Anyone with information about the incident, which took place at 3.30pm yesterday, is asked to contact Pc Christopher Gill at Woodbridge Police on 01473 383460.

Meanwhile, a 14-year-old girl has also been accosted in Brandon.

The incident occurred at 10.15pm yesterday as the youngster made her way along St Peter's Close towards Queens Close.

A car drew up alongside her and the male driver asked her to get into the vehicle. The girl ran away, still being followed, and made her way safely home.

The man is described as white, tanned, in his mid-thirties, with short dark hair. He drove a small, dark coloured X-registration car.

Anyone with information should contact Suffolk Police on 01284 774100.
