Police hunt men in teen 'approach'

POLICE in Ipswich are appealing for information after an 11-year-old boy was approached by three men.The men were travelling in a dark blue Ford Focus when they approached the boy as he walked along Bramford Road at 1pm on Thursday.

POLICE in Ipswich are appealing for information after an 11-year-old boy was approached by three men.

The men were travelling in a dark blue Ford Focus when they approached the boy as he walked along Bramford Road at 1pm on Thursday.

They tried to lure him into their car but he refused and ran away.

The driver is described as white, in his 20s, with blond hair tied back in a ponytail. His passenger was also white, in his 20s, and had dark hair with streaks in it and the other man was white and wore a checked shirt.

Police would advice children to be extra vigilant and as always not to accept lifts from strangers. Anyone with information in relation to this incident should call Pc Simon Hughes at Ipswich police on 01473 613500 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
