DETECTIVES are today appealing for help after an attempted robbery at a pizza takeaway outlet in Ipswich.A man wearing a dark balaclava entered Dominos Pizza in Bramford Road, at 5pm on Saturday, jumped onto the counter and brandished an object covered by a green plastic bag at staff and demanded money.
DETECTIVES are today appealing for help after an attempted robbery at a pizza takeaway outlet in Ipswich.
A man wearing a dark balaclava entered Dominos Pizza in Bramford Road, at 5pm on Saturday, jumped onto the counter and brandished an object covered by a green plastic bag at staff and demanded money.
The robber was distracted and left empty-handed after a member of the public pushed him off the counter.
As he left the premises a passing witness saw him remove his mask and run off towards Prospect Road.
He is described as white, about 5ft 4ins to 5ft 5ins, abut 17-years-old with dark coloured hair. He was wearing a dark hooded top, dark jeans and dark trainers.
