Essex Police were called to the club in Spa Road in Witham last night after reports of a fight breaking out outside the club, in which an 18th birthday party was being held.
Police from across the county were called to assist in the incident, which resulted with two officers and members of the public getting injured.
Six arrests were made for violent disorder offences.
