POLICE today appealed for witnesses after a spate of car crime and burglaries in Kesgrave and Rushmere.
Thieves stole a laptop computer, cash and car keys during a burglary at a house in Ditchingham Grove, Rushmere.
They then used the car keys to steal a blue Ford Focus, registration AX02 EXA, from outside the property.
Three pedal cycles, a red foot pump, a blue coat and four bottles of alcohol were taken from a garage in Larkhill Rise, Rushmere.
It is thought there would have been more than one person involved due to the amount of property stolen, which included a boy's blue and black mountain bike, a man's green and black mountain bike and a woman's red and white cycle, and a bottle of champagne.
In Kesgrave, a black leather briefcase and a black leather wallet were among the items stolen from a grey Renault parked at Bull Drive.
Keys, cash and cards were also taken. The briefcase and several cards were later found in the Wilkinson Drive area.
A shed in the back garden of a home in Bull Drive was broken into and a man's grey mountain bike and a cordless drill stolen, and a shed in the back garden of another home in Bull Drive was raided with two bikes taken but both then left behind in the garden.
Police said the incidents happened between Friday October 26 and the early hours of Saturday October 27.
