Police make drugs arrests after stopping vehicle on A12 and seizing Class A drugs

A pair of men were arrested in relation to drug offences after a vehicle was stopped in Ipswich on Wednesday.

It happened on the A12 around 3.15pm. Police seized Class A drugs in the vehicle.

Richard Mensah, aged 26, of Chingford Road in London was charged with four counts of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, driving whilst disqualified and using a motor vehicle without insurance. He appeared before Ipswich magistrates yesterday where he was remanded in custody pending an appearance at Ipswich Crown Court on January 19.

A 17-year-old boy from London was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs and bailed to February 24.
