POLICE have named the 26-year-old man killed in a motorcycle collision on Friday.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the collision on Newmarket Road in Risby near Bury St Edmunds just after 1pm, where a blue Suzuki motorcycle and a silver Citroen panel van collided. The male rider of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene.
He has today been named as Richard Faulkner of Barrow near Bury.
Police are appealing for anyone who saw the collision, or either vehicles prior to the collision or who may have any further information to contact PC Andrew Fossey at the Serious Collision Investigation Team at Force HQ on 01473 613500.
