Police name driver who died in crash

POLICE have today named the female driver of a car who died following a collision with a horsebox on a Newmarket road.

Denise Pountain, 52, from Newmarket, died when her Volvo 440 collided with a lorry carrying four horses.

The crash happened at the junction of Hamilton Road and Cambridge Road at about 1.50pm yesterday.
