EMERGENCY services have been called to Sudbury today after a man appeared to be threatening to throw himself from the top of a church tower.
Police negotiators attended St Peter's Church in Old Market Place around 12.20am after the man, who appeared to have consumed a large amount of alcohol, was spotted at the top of the tower.
The man eventually came down and was detained by officers inside the tower.
