POLICE are attempting to piece together what happened to a woman found in distress in Woolpit in the early hours of today.
POLICE are attempting to piece together what happened to a woman found in distress in Woolpit in the early hours of today.
Officers were called to Rags lane in the village after members of the public reported hearing a woman screaming at around 3am.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said the woman was taken to West Suffolk Hospital for treatment while the area where she was found was cordoned off.
“Police are speaking to her to establish what happened.
“At this stage what happened has not been determined.”
