Police probe two fires

POLICE are today investigating two fires which broke out in Ipswich overnight.The first was a motorbike on fire in Ashcroft Road, which was reported just before 9.30pm.

POLICE are today investigating two fires which broke out in Ipswich overnight.

The first was a motorbike on fire in Ashcroft Road, which was reported just before 9.20pm yesterday.

When firefighters from Colchester Road fire station arrived the bike was well alight. They brought the fire under control just before 9.30pm.

About an hour later firefighters were called to Selkirk Road where a car parked behind the Co-op store was on fire.

That fire was brought under control just before 10.40pm.

Both fires are being treated as suspicious.
