Assistant Chief Constable Colin Langham-Fitt will hand over a Philips PFX handheld radio to Mr Dzonzi, Deputy Commissioner of the Malawi Police Service at a short ceremony today at force headquarters, Martlesham.
When the new digital BT Airwaves Service is introduced, the analogue radio currently used by officers in Suffolk will no longer be compatible.
